I enjoyed seeing everyone who visited my booth at the annual Mariemont Kiwanis Art & Craft Fair in September.
I now have several watercolors displayed at both the Cottage PaperieĀ and Coffee Please in Maderia.
I was recently honored to receive a ribbon from the Cincinnati Art Club. I have loved to paint with watercolor since childhood and have a special love of the outdoors, gardens and architecture as well as portraits. Since water has been one of my traditional interests, I have traveled to many locations along the Ohio River in order to learn about it and paint what I see. I recently painted the Roebling Bridge downtown while sitting in the Smale Waterfront Park. Wherever I am I will sketch, in watercolors, my surroundings and experiences as some write in a journal. I wrote and illustrated a book about our previous dog Rags. In the past few years, I have done some illustration work for others as well and have truly enjoyed creating images from authorsā words. My painting is somewhat whimsical and impressionistic in style with a sense of romanticism and joy. My hope is that you will be inspired by the paintings and see something in a new way through my art.
